Ignite Theatre Arts is a friendly and encouraging dance school offering classes for children, teens and adults. Created by Lily Wheeler, the schools vision is to inspire people of all ages to ignite or rekindle their passion for dance and performing.
We offer classes for all abilities in various styles, including the opportunity to follow the ISTD Modern Theatre syllabus and work towards exams whilst developing co-ordination, confidence and a sense of achievement. Our teachers are qualified and DBS Checked to provide the best quality of lessons.

BA (Hons) Musical Theatre
ISTD Diploma in Dance Education in Modern Theatre Dance
I have been involved in dance and theatre arts from the age of 8, taking part in a local performing arts group and dance team. This is where my passion for learning and performing first began.
Teaching various age groups from the age of 16, I took on a principal role running a performing arts site before leaving to pursue a Musical Theatre degree at the University of Winchester, achieving First Class Honours.
Whilst at university, I lead the competitive dance team to winning at inter-university competitions, and found a love for teaching and sparking a passion for dance in others. Upon this, I decided that opening my own school was a dream of mine.
I am delighted to introduce you to Ignite Theatre Arts, and I hope that we are able to spark your very own passion!
